Beans
The wub loves to move small objects from one container to another. She entertained herself for a solid twenty minutes with a bag of dried beans and a few bowls and jars.

Visit to the Met
The last thing the wub did in NYC was visit the Met.
Is that available in a 2T?
A turtle!
"Olivia heads straight for her favorite picture. Olivia looks at it for a long time. What could she be thinking?"
The wub loves playing with music boxes and when she saw this display of snuff boxes she asked to "open, open."
Time to go, better pick out something to read on the train back to Boston.

Christmas in NYC
The wub took the train to New York for Christmas. The Boston train station was very pretty and had a huge model train set for Christmas.
The wub liked the Acela (though it took her awhile to stop calling the train a "bus").
The hotel was in Times Square.
Christmas morning and it looks like Santa found our forwarding address.
The wub loves puzzles.
And taking care of babies.
Her babies like to sit and watch Elmo with her.
Mommy and daddy took her to Rockefeller Center but it was way too crowded to get near the tree or skating rink, in fact it was hard even to walk past on the sidewalk in part because half of it was taken up by street vendors (all selling identical signed headshots of the Jonas brothers).
Being a big fan of Ghostbusters, the wub just had to visit the New York Public Library.
Takeout for Christmas dinner.
The wub went to FAO Schwartz after Christmas and looked at all the toys.
She really liked the Playmobile demo.
Here she is all dressed up in the hotel lobby ready to go out to dinner.
Our good friend, Geoffrey, from Princeton brought the wub a cute teddy bear.
She loved the egg cream at the Second Avenue Deli.

Grandma and Grandpa Chatsworth visited the wub.
Grandpa Chatsworth got the kinetic sculpture at the MIT subway station to work.
They took her to the harbor to see an old destroyer.
And a new destroyer.
The harbor museum had a little cardboard dog at the foot of one of the exhibits.
The wub just loved it.
The wub looks more like Grandpa Chatsworth than like mommy or daddy. (Grandpa is the one on the left).
Bundle up everybody.
We're at the dock and it's time to go home.

Chanukah 2008
Grandma Chatsworth left a whole suitcase full of Chanukah stuff for the wub to open.
The biggest hit was a new baby from Grandpa and Grandma Bonsall.
She also loves her bubbles, though mommy replaced the glycerin with water after the wub started licking the bubble ring.

Snow!
Cambridge got its first big snowfall of the year.
The wub got all bundled up to go play in it.
The wub built a snow man with some of her toys.
Mommy helped the wub make snowballs.
And Winston helped with target practice.
