Play time at school

The wub is turning into a frisky baby. Her teachers love to talk about her fun personality.
She really enjoys playing peek-a-boo. She instigates the game all by herself.
There she is! She looks at herself in the mirror to see the baby appear from under the scarf.
She will play with any scarf they have hanging.
She also plays with the hanging ribbons.
There is a ballet bar that the babies use to walk around the room.
Music time! Her teachers tell us that she spends a lot of time contemplating her toys. She tries to figure out how they work. The babies love to play in the water.
What a wonderful wub.

Let's do lunch

The wub loves to eat at school. She can now eat finger foods. Crackers and bananas are her favorites.
Eating oatmeal in the morning with her teacher David
She's learning how to use a spoon to feed herself.

Jabba the rugrat

The wub has learned to crawl (as compared to just butt-scooting or slithering backwards). However she doesn't particularly like to and requires some compelling bait, such as a music box.

Nonetheless she'd much rather be standing.

One of her favorite places to crawl is over to a piece of furniture against which she can raise herself.

Jabba the nerd

Grandma Chatsworth sent the wub a sweater vest, which makes her look like a very small CPA.

Stand in the place where you sleep

The wub's favorite thing to do is stand in the crib holding on to the rail. She stands for twenty minutes laughing and babbling, sometimes making a lap around the crib. Often she prefers standing in the crib to being held and cries to go back in when you pick her up.

The wub's medical adventure

Last month the wub got the flu and had to go to Boston Children's for IV hydration.
After a couple hours of getting the fluids she was feeling all better and started pulling herself up on her crib rail to play and babble.
